Polyester laminating film (PET)

Polyester is a heat activated film for most applications. It has very good scuff and scratch resistance properties, is very durable and can be folded. It is the most popular film for two sided lamination.Uses for PET would include maps, menus, photographs and posters.

Polypropylene laminating film (OPP)

Poly film is very flexible and is often used on items requiring folding. It is suitable for write on/wipe off products, restaurant menus, posters and catalogue sheets. Gives the laminated product a ‘wet’ look.

Nylon laminating film (Stay flat)

Nylon film has the unique characteristic of not stretching - both when heated on the laminating machine and cooled after being applied making it ideal for book jackets, dust covers and other items requiring only one side to be laminated. This film also possesses very good clarity and glossiness.

Super stick laminating film

Due to the increased use of color copy systems (Xerox) that use a fuser oil in the copying, super stick film is compounded with special adhesives allowing the film to properly adhere to these kinds of copied images.

Specialty films

Specialty films include ‘hard coat clear’, ‘poly carbonate felt’ and ‘metallized.’
